生活型

形態特徵

  • Annual ascending or decumbent herbs, to 100 cm tall; stems branched, angled, armed with recurved prickles; nodes enlarged.
  • Leaves lanceolate, 2.5–10.5 cm long, 1–2 cm wide, apex acute to acuminate, base cuneate to weakly sagittate, both surfaces glabrous, beneath midvein retrorsely prickly; petioles 0.5–1 cm long; ocreae tubular, 1.5–2 cm long, apex oblique, loosely strigose at veins, upper margins eciliate.
  • Inflorescences 2–3-flowered fascicles in spike-like panicles, terminal or in axils of upper leaves, usually dichotomous branched, densely flowered, 1–2 cm long; peduncles glandular, 1–4 cm long; bracts ovate, glabrous, apex acute, upper margins ciliate. Flowers white to pink; pedicels included; perianth segments 5, elliptic, 2–4 mm long, apex obtuse; stamens 5; styles 2-cleft, included; nectaries present.
  • Achenes dark brown, biconvex, smooth, shining, 2–3 mm long.

分布

  • 台灣 : in wet grassy places and stream banks at low altitudes.
  • 世界 : Northern India, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, south to northeastern Australia, S China, Yakushima and the Ryukyus.
